Project 365+1: the first 50… my 5 favorite photos

One of the downsides of doing a 365+1 days project is that you don’t have the time to look at your pictures more objectively by getting them out of your sight for a couple of days and then observing them with a fresh mind. You have to post a picture a day (or at least, that’s the goal that I set myself) so there’s not a lot of time to take some distance of your own work. With every photo that I take, I try to learn more, to grow and to reach a higher level. But it’s hardly impossible to grow in every shot that you take, even if you want it so badly, sometimes there will be worse days, sometimes you don’t have that much time etc. But that’s okay because, to say it with a famous quote, the journey is more important than the destination. It will be nice to have my 365+1 photos at the end of the year, but if I wouldn’t be enjoying the journey as much as I do, I probably would have given up by now. It’s not the goal to have 365+1 perfect pictures in the end. The real goal is the experience and the things that I will learn throughout this project.

50 days of this project have passed since yesterday and I browsed through my photos and selected the 5 ‘best’ photos that I have made so far (in my opinion):

The first 50… All of them:
